Foreign trade agents are developing in a positive trend
Introduction to Foreign Trade Agency: From the import and export data of the first five months of this year, China's import and export have increased rapidly, with further optimization of the structure, acceleration of power transformation, and further stabilization of the momentum.
On June 9th, Ren Hongbin, Director of the Foreign Trade Agency Department of the Ministry of Commerce, stated in Beijing that based on the import and export data for the first five months of this year, China's imports and exports have increased rapidly, the structure has been further optimized, the power transformation has accelerated, and the momentum of stabilization and improvement has been further consolidated.
Ren Hongbin said that after analysis, it can be found that there are four characteristics in the increase of foreign trade agents in the first five months: from the perspective of product structure, the export of mechanical and electrical products reached 3.37 trillion yuan, an increase of 14.2%, accounting for 57.3%, which is basically the same as the same period last year. During this period, cars, ships, mobile phones, computers and their components increased by 32.1%, 27.2%, 16.0% and 14.6% respectively.
The export of seven categories of traditional labor-intensive occupations has also continued to increase rapidly, with a growth rate of 12.8%. From the perspective of operating entities, private enterprises' foreign trade agency exports amounted to 2.75 trillion yuan, an increase of 18.1%, accounting for 46.7%, an increase of 1.3 percentage points compared to the same period last year, and continuing to maintain their position as the largest operating entity in exports. From the perspective of transaction methods, the usual import and export transactions amounted to 6.11 trillion yuan, an increase of 21%, accounting for 56.8% of the total value of foreign trade agents in China, an increase of 0.6 percentage points compared to the same period last year.
The new forms of foreign trade agency such as cross-border e-commerce and mall acquisition transactions continue to increase rapidly. From the perspective of international markets, China's imports and exports with the top 10 trading partners increased by 18.9%. Exports to traditional shopping malls such as the United States, the European Union, and Japan increased by 18.3%, 14.6%, and 12.8% respectively; Foreign trade agency exports to Russia, India, Singapore, Indonesia and other countries along the "the Belt and Road" have increased rapidly, with growth rates of 29.5%, 24.7%, 15.8% and 16.9% respectively.
